Booking Portal

Redesigning how users manage reservations & invite guests
View Project

Breather provides private workspaces that are optimized for productivity and accessible by the hour, day, or month. Since Breather was founded, the segment of users who booked spaces for multiday offsites grew more profitable. Understanding how to access the Breather via door codes and sharing that information with meeting guests was a persistent and growing issue.

To thoroughly understand user pain points and prioritize opportunities, I journey mapped the digital to physical user experience. From there, I worked with back-end engineers to send the access codes earlier to users and ensured communications were clear.

I also redesigned the booking portal, where users managed their reservations and invited guests, and the invitation page, where guests could easily scan important information about the Breather. For both, I designed new modules and utilized existing UI components from the new pattern library. I collaborated with Product & Engineering to launch the redesigned invitation page in the summer of 2018. I was responsible for requirements gathering, UX, and visual design.
